Our company, Food Raised Right, LLC (FRR,LLC), has diversified and specialized over the past 5 years in providing utility scale solar sites vegetation consulting, and vegetation management via mechanical, chemical (ODA licensed), and sheep grazing means.
Our 365 acre home farm is located outside London, Ohio (about 30 minutes from Columbus, OH). As a local farm, we bring decades of native vegetation knowledge and expertise that is crucial to establishing a successful vegetation cover for the life of the project. We strive to maximize positive impact on the local environment with our mowing and rotational grazing practices that sequester carbon and improve microbial health in the soil. All while ensuring peak energy generation.
FRR, LLC has consulted with multiple utility scale solar projects in Madison County over the past 5 years and currently manages vegetation for an 196MW /1800-acre site located 8 miles from our home farm. We hire local, reliable employees to work alongside us. We also work closely with our local Soil and Water Conservation and NRCS offices as well as several Staff on the Ohio Power Siting Board. We very successfully completed our 2nd year of solar grazing in December 2025 covering around 450 acres, 3 times, with the sheep flock (and mowing the balance of the acreage).
